Aaron J. Tolson

Idaho Lawyer Aaron J. Tolson is the driving force behind this unique approach to debt problems. He and his wife Michelle are originally from Orem, Utah, and he gained a wealth of experience before becoming a lawyer that continues to aid his ability to serve clients. While attending Brigham Young University as an undergraduate, Aaron worked his way through school for the afternoon and evening crisis team in the emergency room at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. He learned to deal with and manage complex personal and family problems, working with hospital patients of all backgrounds and family circumstances. In the summers, Aaron taught elementary school for at-risk children in the Provo School District. He graduated from Brigham Young University with degrees in English and Microbiology and a minor in Chemistry in 1995, and managed the microbiology department for NuSkin International after graduation, formulating personal care and supplement products and inspecting manufacturing facilities around the United States for preservative compliance.

Aaron then moved to Oklahoma to attend law school after 3 years with NuSkin. He worked his way through law school as a night-time clinical laboratory scientist for Norman Regional Medical Center, working under Pathologists in the blood bank, chemistry, hematology, and microbiology as a certified Medical Technologist, assisting with autopsies and with bone marrow extractions. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma, clerking for two years at the premier insurance defense firm in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, in the medical division. He assisted medical and dental professionals against malpractice suits and other insurance-related cases.

Aaron and his wife were glad to get back closer to home by accepting the offer to leave Oklahoma for the firm of Wright, Wright & Johnson, a firm that has served eastern Idaho for over 40 years. He has practiced law in Idaho Falls for many years, mainly in the areas of business litigation and bankruptcy. He is proud of the many families and individuals that have gone on to overcome their financial problems through his assistance.

In his spare time, Aaron enjoys writing and has published 3 novels. He is a frequent contributor of articles in legal magazines and the Idaho Falls Post Register, and stories in the New Era. He is proud to have given 12 years of service in Scouting, organizing five 50-mile hikes in the Sawtooth, Yellowstone, and Uinta mountains for young men, and surviving camping overnight in many cold Idaho and Utah snow caves. He currently resides in Idaho Falls with his wife and their six children, continuing to enjoy his family, his legal practice, writing, and golf.
